What a difference 2 years make. Natascha Kampusch is a talk show host! Unbelievable the resilience of this girl. Now, I’m not Austrian but I’ve always followed this story with interest. If you recall the story from a couple of years ago, this girl was kidnapped at the age of 10 and in a cell in her captor’s basement for 8 years. She escaped and he threw himself onto a moving train. I’m a huge animal lover and it saddens me greatly when I hear that perfectly good animals get killed in shelters because of over population and crowding. Therefore, it warms my heart when I hear foundations such as the Lange Foundation whose mission is to save abandoned or stray animals that would have been otherwise euthanized in animal shelters. The name Josef Fritzl will forever live in infamy as one of the sickest bastards ever to live. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Josef Frizl is the Austrian incest dad who kept his daughter Elisabeth in the dungeon for 24 years while he repeatedly raped her and fathered 7 children with her. In fact, living under a rock is probably comparable to what the victims had to endure. While 3 of the children had been taken up and adopted by Joself Fritzl and his unsuspecting wife, the other three had to live with their mother in a windowless cellar(one of the babies had died and had been disposed of by Josef Fritzl in a furnace).
